There was a small article about the railway in our local paper but it didn't have nearly as much information. I was particularly glad to read about the efforts that the Chinese made to protect the environment. After reading your web page, it made me really see that the Tibetan people deserve the technological advances that a railway like this will bring despite what some westerners think. I don't think that anyone in the west would want to go back to the days before modern utilities and transportation..."
