Cornus capitata
Evergreen tree. 3~8 m high. Oblong or
lanceolate leaf. Capitulum, subspherical.
4 involucres, petaliform, yellow, 6 cm in
diameter. Fruits from red to yellow when
ripening. Flowering: June to Aug.
Fruiting: Aug to Sept. Temperate, humid
and nutrient tendency. South Tibet.
1700~2600 m, forest. Southwest China.
Himalayas. Southeast Asia. Edible and
brewing fruit.
