Iris chrysographes Perennial. 25 to 50 cm. Linear leaf, 25 to 70 cm long. Terminally biflorous, dark, blue purple, 8 to 12 cm in diameter. The outside petals are golden veined. Flowering: June and July. Cool and light tendency. Tolerant to wetness. Sinoendemic. Southeast Tibet. 2900 to 4600m, forestedge meadow or wet meadow. Southwest China.
