Phlomis medicinalis Perennial herb. 20 to 75 cm high. Basal leaves ovate tooblong, cauline leaves ovate or triangular. Whorled flowers, pink or purple. Flowering: July to Sept. Heliophilous; cold, drought and poorness tolerance. Sinoendemic. Central to southeast Tibet. 2500 to 4400 m, grassy slope, meadow or thickets. West Sichuan.
