Salvia przewalskii
Perennial, 60 cm high. Leaves triangular
or elliptic ovate, rarely basally
cordiform. 2 to 4 whorled flowers,
racem-shaped. Reddish purple flower.
Flowering: July to Sept. Heliophiles.
Tolerance to cold and a bit tolerance to
poorness. Sinoendemic. South to east
Tibet. 2800 to 4300 m, grassy slopes,
scrubs. West Gansu, west Sichuan and
northwest Yunnan.
