Sellera chamaejasme
Perennial herb or
subshrub. 20 to 50cm tall. Linear
lanceolate or ellipic leaf. Terminal
capitulum, multiflorous, flower diameter:
2.5 to 5.3 cm, calyx: purple outside,
white inside. Flowering: June to Aug.
Drought and poorness tolerant. Distributed
in a large area from south to east Tibet,
on grassy slopes and stony alluvial fans
at 3500 to 4600 m. Also in India and north
Asia.
