Shrub. 1 to 2m high.
Trichasium strong acantha along branch.
Lanceolate leaf, subintegrifolious.
Raceme, or subumbel in axils, with several
flowers basally. Yellow flower. Oblong
fruit, red, with a bit white powder.
Flowering in May.
Heliophiles, drought and poorness
tolerant. High adaptability. Tibetan
endemic. Distributed in the middle
Yaluzangbu basin, growing in scrub,
grassland or stone gaps. 3 600 to 4 400m.
