Arenaria edgeworthiana(Cushion plants,growing together with Androsace) Perennial cushion plants. Stems 4¡«8cm high. Leaves subulate-linear. Flowers single, terminal, 1.8cm in diameter; petals white. Flowering: July to Aug.
Heliophilous, resistant to coldness and drought. Endemic to the Himalayas. Distributed in west, south and central Tibet. Growing in alpine meadows and steppes of 4200 to 5000 m alt. Also in Bhutan and Sikkim.
