priceless experience of first-hand cultural shock when in China,

and unforgettable memory of beautiful mountain scenery ..."

Further, I am also organising activities for our students

in helping out the schools of China "to use INTERNET

as an educational tool " in their school programme. This is a great

opportunity for our teachers/students to get to know students in China

and about Chinese history, geography, culture and their way of life.

Let me tell you a successful story of a group of junior high school students.

A Project Committee was formed in the school with those who were interested.

The Project Committee had two main functions. One was to identify the group

which would go to China for the teaching and demonstration. The other function

of the Committee was to raise fund required to support this project goal.

They had raised fund from their school body and from outside Corporate Sponsors.

The amount of money, required for the trip, depended on how many participants in

the group being selected to go to China. For example, for a group of five( a teacher and

four students) it would need two thousand five hundred dollars for each person( in this

case an amount of ten thousand). The twelve thousand five hundred dollars amount was

for the group to travel and for the purchase of a laptop computer for demonstration purpose.

The target date of travel in this case is set on 'March break', March 13 to 21, 1999.

Itinerary for the trip :

You can be sure that this will be a fantastic trip. Two days will be spent on flying

and travel. You will spend three days at the local school. With your software/data your

school has prepared for you, you will use your laptop computer for demonstration and

teach them how to use INTERNET as an educational tool. The rest of the time with

the students and teachers of the local school, you will be hiking in Yellow Mountains,

which for thousands of years has been regarded as a "Natural Wonder" in the Chinese
