Donation Ceremory at HuangShan City October 26, 1996

Over two hundred hearing aid devices were donated to the disabled children living in the remote villages at HuangShan (Yellow Mountains ) regions between the period of 1995 to 2000.

On October 26, 1996 a ceremony was held for Mr Zhao Zhang Yong, Party Secretary General of HuangShan City, to receive sixty hearing aid devices from Mr Tony Pau.

This ceremony was published in the local official Chinese newspaper.

Many local dignitaries in China were present at the ceremony. This photo shows some of the participants at the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, a photo was taken with the Party Secretary General and Mrs Taimi Henderson( a resident of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada) who was also one of the donars of the hearing aids.

Those disabled children who received the hearing aid devices were able to learn to speak and eventually be able to lead a normal life .
